    Living on my own at 16
    If you are 16 in the state of MN and have a baby can you move out of your parents house with out there consent

    You can, but you would have to meet a number of requirements to be granted emancipation... be able to support yourself, still attend school, etc.. Certain situations would automatically allow it, such as if you were to marry young... but even that would require parental consent at 16.
    Give some careful thought as to whether you would truly be better off on your own or if you can work things out at home, where you can likely have some support and a safety net, if that is the issue. More importantly, would the baby be better off? The baby's well being is the first priority.
