    Fan Remote Control
I installed a Hunter ceiling fan and I am using a Harbor Breeze remote control and unit. The Harbor Breeze fan unit has a blue wire for the light. Instructions tell me to connect the unit blue wire to the blue wire on the fan, however there is not a blue wire on the Hunter fan. I connected the remote unit blue wire to an unused black/white wire of the fan. Everything works with the remote control operation except the light control. Any suggestions?

Your wiring sounds correct. Is the light wired correctly at the bottom of the fan, and is the light pullchain turned on?

The fan wiring is connected to the light by means of a "keyed" connector. The light chain is in the correct position. Thx

Does the light come on? Have you tried wiring the fan and light without the remote receiver?
