Traffic Ticket - Crossing HOV Divider
I received a ticket for crossing an HOV divider. It occurred at 6:50am but the officer incorrectly put 6:50pm. I plead not guilty and will be going to court for it. I expect the officer to just read off the ticket and claim this happened at 6:50pm. I can prove it did not. Do I have a chance in winning this? Thanks!

A small error such as an AM in place of a PM will not excuse you from the ticket.

Police are only human, and are allowed to make minor mistakes without having the case dismissed because of a simple error.

If that is your only defense, be sure to take your wallet to court when you go.
