Is it possible to force someone into rehab. (oxycodone mother of 4), when all else fails? My wife will hopefully be starting a drug called suboxone within the week. I'm trying to hang in there for her as long as possible but it s mentally dragging me down. I have a deep feeling of impending doom constantly and all trust is gone. I think my biggest problem is I care too much. She seems to think the suboxone is her ticket out and I pray it is, but if it doesn't work I feel my only alternative is to ask her to leave. Myself and our children just kind of keep doing what we've always done which is a very happy and active life, but they don't know that inside, I feel like I've never felt before. I live in Ohio, and I just need to know if there is a way to force her into rehab? She is 100% against going to an institute for a month for treatment. She doesn't want to miss out. Thank you.

If a person doesn't go because they want to quit and sick and tired of being addicted then rehab doesn't really do anything but clean a person out so they can start all over.
If they don't have the desire and motivation to quit they will go right back to it.

Rehabs talk about how they have a large number of people go through their system but in reality very few are really success stories. Many of 'the numbers' they use in their statistics are repeaters.
