I have a feeling that this is going to be too vague... but it has been bugging me for over a year.

I remember it looked really good. I saw it in Safeway 1-2 years ago. Not sure if it was new, because sometimes they have author profiles. Anyway, on the cover was a small couple line blurb about it being a 'Medical Thriller.' The text was cube-shaped, 3/4 of way down the book and to one side. I had read a page or two of it and it started with a car pulling into a driveway and some talking.
Author was well-known to me, so I didn't bother to note it down, and the title seemed fairly easy. I think it had something to do (book, not the title) about experiments on people... though most medical thrillers do.
I am pretty sure I have looked through all of Robin Cook's books.

Love you forever if I can finally find this blasted book! :D
