    Docs giving referals
    OK so I got to go get a kenny stone blasted and I need a refferal from a family doc and I don't have one so they told me to call and see if I can get a reffeal with out being seen and they said no so I made a appt and it is the 9 th with the family doc so now the place that haves to blast it says that I have to be seen the 8th it's the only appt until augst 25 and I have to be seen asap because it has already been almost a month are they any way to get a referral with out being seen or what should I have asked the docs office for they will give me one?? Very confused

    Type your county and health clinic in the search engine and see if there are any in your area They might be able to give referrals I never needed a referral from them so I'm not sure.

    I believe you mean KIDNEY STONES right?

    Now, you can go to your local ER, if you are in pain, and let them know that you do not have a family doctor. They should have a list of providers there that they can refer you to.
