    Oxygen sensor light won't go out
    How do I get the engine check light to go out after changing oxygen sensor?

    I'm no mechanic... but from experience dealing with my own car, after my battery was unplugged and hooked back up, everything reset. The check engine light went off, but actually came back on after about 100 miles because changing the oxygen sensor didn't correct the problem...

    OBD II (OBD 2) Reader from Actron or other at a local Auto Parts store go for about $40.00 and not only can you read codes, but you can reset Engine Light as well. Takes about 2 minutes. If you know a local Mechanic, he MAY do it for free. I do.
