    Water Pressure
Just installed a new hot water heater. Now we don't have much water pressure at all. What do I need to do to get the water pressure back?

    Hey bankerator:

Reduced pressure at both HOT and COLD..

If so, then you must have shut off the main water supply to the house at the meter or at the pump to install the heater... yes?

Otherwise, if you only shut off the cold water shutoff to the water heater then it may be that the aerators got clogged at the sinks when filling the new heater and may just be that the aerators need to be removed and cleaned.

Try removing the aerators first (see pic.), clean them, run water without them in place (pressure better without them on?? ) and then replace them. Did that fix the issue?

If not... I will need to know what you touched in terms of shutoffs in the basement and exactly what is reduced.. hot/cold/upstairs, everywhere?

And, did you solder your connections on the heater directly or did you presolder fittings before you connected them..

Let me know all you can here... I'll be popping in and out all night!
