    Kenmore 70 series washing machine not spinning
    Our Kenmore 70 series heavy duty super capacity plus washing machine will not spin on it's own for the spin cycle without us first lifting the lid. Once the lid is lifted it will then "catch" and begin to spin. This has to be done for every spin cycle during a wash load. Would someone happen to know what might be causing this? Thank you!

    You have a bad imbalance switch or the snubber or snubber pad is worn. The snubber pad is locade on the rear right side of the tub ring. The imbalance switch is located inside of the rear left side.
