    Generally you don't. IP adddresses are most often assigned either by the ISP that you connect to or a DHCP server on your network. If it's the one assigned by the ISP then forget it. If it's the one assigned by your DHCP server, you could hard code it, but there are only a few reasons you might want to.

    So post back with more info about your setup and why you think you need to do it and we'll try to help further.
