First of let me say that I live on a reservation... my sons father is enrolled on the same reservation but lives off the reaservation... my son was born off the reservation and I choose not to enroll my son on our reservation for childsupport reasons... anyway, my sons fahter who is going to try to take me to court for visitation to see his is son in our tribal court system... I feel he has no right to do this because my son is not enrolled and he himself does not live on the reservation... can he do this? Also, he hardly seen his son as it was... he would go months without seeing him and only thinks that he can see him when he decides to call. Also, he has domesticly abused me, but I have no proof of that... but he is with another girl now and he has domesticaly abused her... and I have proof of it... she had posted picutres of the time he had beat her up on her websight... now she is back with him and has been bothering... I'm now in the process of putting a restaining order on her but I'm unsure of what to do about him... I know I have rights as far as him bringing me to our reservation court system and not to mention everything else he has done... can you please give me some kind of advice!!

Print out the stuff from the website. I don't know that it would be admissible but good to have anyway.
If he is going to get rights and you see there is nothing you can do to stop it stress to him and the court that you want the visits to be regular and not haphazardly at the dads convenience because you feel consistency is important for your son.

Thank you for the advice you gave me... I did print everything... so that is a good thing... but once again I just wanted to say thank you for your output on things and it is greatly appreciated!
