Work check being garnished
OK right now my work check has been garnished right now it has been going on for about 2 months well I have been offered another job making more money. So I am going to put in my 2 weeks notice and also the boss tells me I can cash in all my vacatioon days which I have like 41 of them and get 1 check for like 2000 dollars but that's separate from my regular payroll check what I want to know is will they be able to garnish that check to cause right now they are only garnishing my regular payroll check that I get every week. How will they even know I am getting that check since its not a regular payroll check all I want to know is will they garnish that check to or will they even know about that check?

This is actually up to your job. A lot depends on how the garnishment order was written. For example if the order is against your regular salary, then the job doesn't have to deduct from the vacation check. If the order specifies all compensation, then they do. So the decision to deduct the garnishment from that check is up to your payroll dept.
Now, that you will be earning more money you should make arrangements with the creditor to pay the debt. They will eventually find your new job and garnish that salary.

Well frankly I would not ask I would just wait to see what they do. If you draw attention to the issue they might have to garnish the amount.
But really, you owe this money and are oligated to pay it, so why not get it over with.
