    Very real dream
Hi, about 10yrs ago I dreamt that I was in a building that had an unusual stair case in it. The stair case was hidden behind a wall and when I noticed a door I went in and walked up the stairs and when I got to the top there where two rooms a tiny bathroom in front of me and a large dark room to my left. In the large room I saw a dead body and ran as fast as I could to get back down stairs and that's when I woke up. When I woke up I had the most awful sick feeling and was shaken.
I told my husband about my dream because it was so creepy, then pretty much forgot about it. Until one Saturday when my husband and I went to a town 60 miles away to go shopping. On our way home my husband decided to take a back road to avoid traffic that's when we came to a small town called mccutchenville Indiana.
We stopped at an antique store because I had to use the restroom , When we went in I asked the owner if I could use the restroom and she pointed to a door that I would have never seen because it had paneling on it that matched the wall. When I opened the door
I had a sick feeling in my stomach but went up the stairs anyway at the top of the stairs was a tiny restroom and to my left was a large dark room identical as the one in my dream. Needless to say I did not use the restroom because I was running down the steps as fast as I could and almost ran past my husband trying to get out of the store. My husband grabbed me and asked what was wrong and I told him it was the building I had seen in my dream. The owner asked what was wrong and I was scared to say because she might think I was crazy. But told her anyway, she didn't think I was crazy in fact she told me about two months prior a man came into store to pick out wall paper for his daughters room and he told her his wife and daughter would be in that afternoon to pick it up even gave the name of his wife . Later that afternoon a woman and her daughter came in to pick out wall paper. The owner told her that her husband had been in earlier and picked out the paper. The lady said it wasn't possible because her husband had died the year before.
This has haunted me for years, trying to figure out why I had the dream and why it was so surreal. (can someone help me put it into perspective?) please excuse the grammar and punctuation, I am the world's worst.:)

I usually get the sick feeling that something is wrong or going to happen. I can't explain it ,it is just an uneasy ,awful feeling in my gut that I just can't shake believe me if I could turn it off I would.
Like the time my present husband and I decided to go to Evansville, Ind. For my birthday it has been about six years ago. The whole drive over I felt uneasy and kind of sick to my stomach and could not shake the feeling and I could not enjoy myself at all. I asked my husband to take me back home, after we ate. He was somewhat disappointed because he had plans for a special day with me. When we arrived in town I asked him to take me by the school. My son was in the sixth grade at the time and I had soul custody of him.
When we arrived at the school, I went in and asked to pick my son up early it was about an hour before school let out so I have no idea why, I asked to take him out early. It just came out of my mouth without thinking.
The secretary said he didn't come to school that day and I told her he did because I brought him and dropped him off myself. She said she would call his home room and speak with his teacher. So she did and the teacher said he hadn't been to school at all that day. (I freaked out! It was a mothers worst nightmare.)
My sons father was at the school that morning and waited for me to leave and he took my son before he could get to his class room. He didn't leave town with him or anything like that . He said he wanted to spend time with him (Go figure?)
That is somewhat the main type of feelings I get. When I get the feeling it scares me because I don't know what to expect.
It's strange because my sister and mother both do the same thing. My mom has dreams of muddy water like she's drowning and every time she has this dream someone that we know dies. (creepy but the truth)
My sister had a dream that my son who is in high school now was riding his bike to school and when he turned the corner my father was standing there and was waving his arms telling my son to go back like something bad was ahead.
My father died in 2004 this happened in 2006 so my father had been dead for two years before this dream. My son was riding his bike to school and being in high school now I figured he would be safe and careful. He had just left the house and about 15 to 20 min later I received a phone call, The man on the other end asked me if I was "Ryan's" mom and I said yes, He said your son just got hit by a truck and they are loading him in the ambulance right now. The fear was overwhelming, It still upsets me to talk about it . My sister and mother felt guilty because they both knew about the dream and didn't tell me because they know how things upset me. They felt they could have prevented the whole accident.
I don't know why we have these premonitions, If that's what you would call it. But I don't like it! We have them a lot and they are scary.

I get feelings like that too, but I don't feel sick, I just get this uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Kind of like guilt gut.. I don't know, its hard to explain. About your son, Something like that happened to my friend's mom, Mariko. When Mariko was a teenager, she was an AMAZING tennis player. She was in national level tournaments and she was just brilliant! Just a week before the biggest competition of her life, Her aunt was taken in to the hospital, so her and her brother were going to ride there on his motorcycle, but her mom had a terrible feeling about it. She warned them not to and offered them a ride but they were just like "oh no, you just got home. stay here, its ok, we'll be fine!"
They were kind of worried about what their mom said, so they were taking extra caution, driving really slow and stopping at every intersection, but then a speeding car hit them from the side. Her brother flew off the motorcycle but was pretty much OK, but the point of impact was right at Mariko's knee. So they called an ambulance and they got to the hospital, and her mom was walking in to visit her aunt, and saw Mariko being wheeled in on a gurney with a nasty bloody knee, and needless to say, fainted. Mariko's doctor told her she would never be able to play tennis again. So her WHOLE life was dedicated to playing tennis, she has a crash and her dreams are shattered, and her Mom felt it coming.
And another instance, with the same person, this one involving me, and it really creeped me out.
It was during the winter, right after a bad snow storm. Mariko had just won a brand new van in a raffle. Our youth was volunteering at a dog show that Sunday, and Mariko was using the van to drive us. Mariko told us a story about how in Japan, the symbol for 'win' also means 'crash' so whenever they win a car in japan, they sell it, because they don't want it to crash. But since she didn't sell it and the roads were icy, she didn't feel good about driving, but also didn't want to let the people at the dog show down.
So she drove anyway. We were on the highway about 45 minutes from home and all of a sudden the car lost traction, started spinning, and we crashed right into the concrete rail.
Car crashes are scary but what made it really freaky is that the 'old wive's tale' came true.

That is creepy! Reminds me of last year April 3rd. I was leaving my mothers house, I had to get home to shut my windows and let my dog in because it was getting ready to rain.
All I remember is topping the overpass about 2miles from my home, and not a whole lot after that. The man behind me on the highway told me several months later that his boss just happened to let him go home early that day, He said it was unusual because he normally never goes home early. But thank GOD he did that day because he saved my life. He said that I was in front of him on the highway when it started to rain, my car hydroplaned, then I over corrected and my car flipped three time, I busted through the drivers window and the car was actually standing on it's side with my upper half out and the car was crushing my chest. The EMT that I know told me I could have died If this man hadn't stopped. Because it started to storm really bad, hail and water was going into my mouth and I could have drown. But the man stayed right with me covering my face and protecting me from the storm and trying to keep me conscious. Like I mentioned earlier I don't remember a whole lot. But I recall a man being with me and he kept saying" sissy hang on just hang on." When I spoke with this man Months later I told him I remember him saying" sissy hang on." He told me he never said that. When I mentioned it to my family, they looked at me with shock on their face. They said when I was in the trauma center I kept telling my Mom that my Dad was there with me telling me to hang on! ( I of course don't recall that because, I was hurt pretty bad.)

My Dad was the only person who always called me sissy, But he had died of pancreatic cancer three years prior.
I was alone with Dad when he passed away, My sister was supposed to stay the night but I took her place and I told Mom to go to bed and get some sleep, because she stayed by his side every night and she was recovering from a stroke, I knew she was worn out mentally and physically. I told her I would sit up all night with him if she would just go rest. My Dad died at 6:30am the next day.
I have thought about what people have told me about my wreck and the bits and pieces that I remember. Maybe I subconsciously wanted my Dad, because I was hurt and he was always the strong one of the family. So, maybe I thought this other man was him possibly? I don't know. No matter how much I would love to know that he was really there, I still kind of think it was a subconscious thought to comfort myself. What do you think?

One thing I can say, chatting with you about this has dug up some kind of pain that I have kept inside. I didn't know how much I still hurt because he is gone until now. I have tears running down my face. My family don't talk about Dads death. Because it is upsetting, So I guess I have kept it built up for 4yrs now. I can't believe I'm crying I'm sorry:(
I have to go now but will chat later.
    Thank You,

I'm sorry about your father, but I hope you can work through your bottled up sadness.
It's never good hold any kind of negative emotions inside.
