    Replacing American Standard shower/tub diverter
We have a tub/shower with American Standard single handle chrome fixtures. The diverter in the tub spout, which is vertical and operates by pulling up a handle, has come to pieces and needs to be replaced. How do I do this? Can I buy just the diverter and replace it, or do I need to replace the entire spout, which would be a pain?

Sorry but the fix for this is to replace the tub spout. Not a difficult task. Generally there are two types, one that screws on and off and one that slips on and is held in place by a set screw.

Hi, I have a problem with water dripping from my shower head. I have American Standard hardware with a single lever knob (shower only, no tub). I installed a new cartridge 023529-0070A but that has not fixed the problem. My house is only 4 years old. I'm not a skilled DIY type but this...
