:confused: I have a huge problem iwas going to get married and my boyfriend got into jail for being with a 16 year old and I told my teachers about it and they called my parents but the problem is that I never told my parents about the marriage

If I understand you, you are 16 and your boyfriend is 18 or older. It was reported that he was having sex with you (not with another 16 yr old) and he's in trouble for that. But you think its OK since you were planning on marrying him. I am also gathering that its your parents who are making the trouble for him because they are unaware of your marriage plans.

The decision to get married is one that is best made when grown up. From your post you are anything but grown up. You really need to sit down with your parents and tell them everything. Try to convinve them that you are serious about this guy but that you understand you are too young to be married at this time.

Yes I am underage and I live in puerto rico
My boyfriend and I are going to brake up because I don't want him to get hurt in jail I love him so much but if he loves me as much as I love him we can wait until I am 18 but the problem is that his in jail for 2 day and now I am scared because my prent did not know about him

Scottgem has given wonderful advice. You do know that you would not be able to wed without your parents permission, correct? Or do you mean you intended to marry when you are old enough?

Regardless, you need to get yourself together and talk to your parents. It might prevent things from getting out of hand.

My advice still stands, please talk to your parents and tell them you are willing to wait until you are 18. That you know your love can endure the wait. You do need to provide more details like how old is he. What was he arrested for?
