    Circle Equations
    I have to figure out if (-1,7) is on, inside, or outside a cvircle with this equation:S>>> x(squared) + y (squared) = 45. How do I even figure this out:S

    Plug in your given values for x and y. If you get 45, then it is on the circle. If it is less than 45 it is inside. If it is more than 45, it is outside.

    You can also draw the line on graph paper... Plotting the point (-1, 7) will tell you if its on, inside or outside that circle!
