    Black Out options for windows
I have a loft apartment with ceiling level windows that emit bright light first thing in the morning. Windows do not open and are not covered. I can access the windows easily from the roof, but not from the interior (30-50 feet above the floor).

As a temporary solution I have tapped tin foil over the windows to block light, but need something that can endure wind, rain, etc. I am not the owner, so any light blocking solution will have to be removed whenever I move.

    1) I've looked at black light blocking film for windows, but most need to be installed inside, and require messy solutions to apply. Too much wind on the roof to do this easily.

    2) Have black plastic cut to fit each window and secure with heavy duty double sided tape. An expensive option.

    3) Someone suggested painting the windows with house paint, and then applying a coat of silver paint on top. Paint would have to be scrapped off with a razor blade to remove.

I have 4 windows, roughly 2" by 4" each. Any other suggestions?

I would borrow a large ladder and put some sort of window treatment on the inside. You could probably borrow one from the person who does maintenance on the property.

Etales disagrees: Suggested a solution that I already outlined in my question as NOT an option.

Actually, you didn't say it wasn't an option. You said that it was difficult to get to. Not impossible.

You were asking for suggestions - I gave you one.

It may not work, but you were given what you asked for.

Check at HD they sell those hurricane clip for window, you cut plywood to fit into the window then slip on the clips and press the whole thing into the window's frame,it is removable
