    Change kitchen sprayer hose
The hose on a Moen kitchen faucet has a hole and needs replacing. I got a new hose but was going to reuse the sprayer head itself. How do I get the head off the old hose and on to the new one. Do I need to get a new spray head too?

The spray head should simply unscrew. Good luck, Tom

If you have the average spray head it is built to unscrew close to the bottom of the spray head. After you remove the first part of the spray head a threaded piece will remain on the hose.
There will also be a soft plastic washer on the hose where the spray head came off, also a hard plastic washer, remove both of these washers. Now if you look closely where the washers came off there is a C clamp, it is very small, this will have to be removed, then the other part of the spray head will come off. Remember how things came apart and reverse the procedure to attach the head onto the new hose.

Let me know if this works.

Here is a visual for you spadeace... ;)

Pay attention to the retaining clip under the washer. This clip needs to be removed so you can transfer the bottom part of sprayer to the new hose. I use two small flat screwdrivers to simply push clip off spray hose and onto a towel... then reassemble onto new hose and you should be all set here!

    Hope it helps!
