Screen picture jumping up and down
Just like an OLD television, my screen is jumping up and down. I didn't know what
Category in computers to go to and since I'm totally lost , technically challenged, I
Thought maybe I could get a reply I could understand. Thanks to anyone who tries
    To help me.

Is your monitor an old CRT? (Cathode Ray Tube) Big, bulky heavy box-like monitor just like an old TV?

If it is, it's capable of going bad the same way an old TV would. Time to just get a new monitor. Flat Panel LCDs will never have this problem and use 1/10th the amount of electricity as a CRT.

Guess what... it was suggested to me that it might be my mouse. I happen to have
Another mouse, a new one and the jumping stopped. Thanks for your suggestions.
Turned out to be a defective mouse... (I've sent it to the local nursing home)!
