    Finding the rule
Hi there I am asked this question

" A boy's height between the ages of 10 and 15 increases according to the rule: h=Aloge(kx) where h is his height in metres at age x.
If he was 1 m tall at age 10 and 1.6 m tall at age 15, find the values of A and k correct to 3 decimal places.

I know I have two points already but I don't know how to define them. Are the two points (0,1) and (6,1.6)

    Thanks

Just substitute the values you have that is 1m and 10yrs, and 1.6m and 15 yrs, in yr equation to have the two points. I think you have it.

You'll then have two equations from yr substitutions and solve them simultaneously. You'll have the value of A and k. Insert them in your first equation, i.e. h=Aloge(kx).
