Change a shower to a tub
In the basement bathroom we have a shower that was placed in the wall. The front of the shower is lined up with the wall ans the back of the shower is in my laundry room. The drain to the shower is really in the laundry room and I want to know can the drain be moved into the bathroom so we can have a tub/shower and then close up the wall.

    Hi Debbie,
I want to know can the drain be moved into the bathroom
Sure can Deb! However, the floor will have to come up and the trap and raiser will have to be moved 15" from the frinished side wall and 1 1/2" out from the front plate to the cenhter of the raiser. A 12' tub Dap-out square will to bwe boxed in around the trap and raiser as the tub waste will connect a tad below the floor line. Good luck, Tom
