    Change of status from H1B -> H4 -> H1B again
    My H1B status started on Oct 1st, 2006 and is valid until Sep 30, 2009 (so, I used less than 2 years of the maximum allowed 6-years). I intend to study "one year full-time masters program" starting in Aug, 2008 - either on F1 or H4 status.

    My questions are -

    1) At the time of graduation, will I be H1B cap exempt if I find an employer willing to sponsor?

    2) Does this H1B cap exemption depend on whether I file my COS application before the expiry of my current H1B visa (which is Sep 30, 2009)?

    Appreciate your advise. Thank you.
