It defnitely looks like a Japanese motif, along with the writing on the bottom. This could be a start anyway. Otherwise I can't identify it anymore then that, barbart.

It could also be American from the Art Deco period which was also international in scope. Your two images are pictured below. Sometimes, artwork involving wildlife of any kind from the Art Deco period can be mistaken to be of Japanese origin, even when they aren't. What are the dimensions of it, please? Depending on the dimensions, it could be something other than a vase.

    Thanks!

It is 7" tall, 3" across at the bottom, and 2" across at the top. The artwork goes all around it but the main portion of it is shown in picture. It is glazed on the interior side also. Can you read what is written on bottom? One would think with a signature it would be easier to locate and identify!

You have done a great job with giving the links to the images that you have! Plus, the images that I have found that you have linked to have been great! However, we can do the best that we can here according to what you would like to know, but we can't guarantee any of the information that we have concerning collectibles. But, we will try. At least you are receiving live help here! I will try my best! But, most of the time I feel that I am alone in the pursuit of helping people with these sort of questions.

I can read what is on the bottom of it. Although. Some of it would be subject to interpretation as far as the writing is concerned. More interpretation is needed in that regard. Hopefully, others will come along to help with that.

In my opinion, I really don't think that it is Japanese in origin.

At least I'm not the only one who can't clearly read the bottom! I really appreciate your help and input.
