Black hair dye!
Ok, so in have brown hair and I hated it.. so for about 2 years now I have had black hair I would dye it about every 6 months or so.. and I have always wanted to dye it a different color but now I can't because its black and when I do dye it it doesn't change I kind of knew it would happen but I tried to dye it anyway and it just dies my roots and that's it... and I'm not sure if I want to bleach it or strip it because people have told me it makes your hair fall out... so how can I get the black out of my hair because I want it out to I can go like strawberry blonde.
Thanks to all that answer:)

I'm afraid the only quick solution is to strip it, doesn't mean your hair will fall out but best to get it done at a salon and let them do a sensitivity test first or you could have your hair cut so it won't take as long to grow out but the only real solution is to wait unfortunately till it grows out, you could always ask for 3 different highlights to be put through your hair with your black colour if you have them done finely then you won't really notice the black it will just look dark brown hope that was useful :)

I have black hair.
And I have tried to dye mine blonde loads of times.
At one stage I put on 2 packs of pre-lightener and a bleach and it was white blonde and the roots and dark ginger everywhere else.
After that it also snapped of a lot because it was so dead.
The best was to do it is to get a hairdresser to do it (if you can persuade one), but it'd still be ginger for a while even then.

I got my hair stripped and mine didn't fall out:)
It was sooooooooooo so so so worth the money.. black hair gets so boringg!
So if your thinking of getting it done start using a clarifyin shampoo I used redken cleansing cream... it won't take all the colour out it'll just make the dying process easier...
So when I got it done my hair came out a bit hayley williamsish lol it was orange and blonde and then the hairdresser put brown over it and put highlights because there was a tad bit of black in places so it evend out... :D
Damn I wish though I got her to dye it red while it was orangy:( ima get that done soon:D
But yeah my hair was fine
I was expecting it to be terrible
But it wasnt:D
