    My wife and I are going threw a divorce. After a year in the house.. . Can one file for US citizenship while a there is a pending divorce.

    I don't understand what "after a year in the house" means.

    How long has the non-citizen been in this country and is he/she self supporting?

    Do you mean you've been married for one year?
    Did the alien spouse receive conditional greencard?
    What is his/her current legal status?
    What kind of visa the alien spouse had when he/she first entered US?
