    17.5 hp mower will not start
    Hello I have a 17.5 hp stanley hydro-matic lawnmower my son went to get it out of storage and melted the starter selinoid replaced it and it will not turn over it will start if you jump the selinoid but it will only run for a few seconds so I replaced ignition switch and still the same thing the mower ran fine for the last three weeks:

    You have severe electrical problems. Did the solenoid get hooked back up correctly?

    Yes I hooked it just like the other one I don't know anything about this I am very good with atv's but I did not know the worlds were completely diferant please let me know something
