    Inheritance of estate
If an adult was adopted as a child and later discovered that their biological parent has died, according to Louisiana Law, how do they inherit from the dead biological parent's estate?

First if the probate has been closed for some time there is little you can do normally. Also were you already adopted when they died. Since normally an adopted child no longer has a right to inheritance.

But in any of these cases you would have to hire an attorney and sue the estate.
