    Haier air conditioner
    Trying to repair Haier model HWR24VC5 need to know what color wire goes with which post on compastor .:: also when turing on always blows fuse what could cause that.

    Is it (Haier HWR24VC5) a window or through the wall a/c unit? Something is shorted or pulling more amps than what the fuse or breaker is designed for. Are using a timed delay fuse made especially for the extra amp draw that a/c`s have on startup?

Saturday night it got -21 here in MN and I was having a party here and slightly opened a few windows and had the wood burning stove going and the central air came on. Not sure how long it was running. By the way it has a cover on it. Why would it of come on? And is it damaged?
