I am interested in Ambrotose. I have Stage IV melanoma. The original melanoma (a mole on my back) was removed in 2001 and has returned via my bloodstream and showed in a tumor located in the subcutaneous tissue of my left arm. This is rare since the first melanoma was not very thick and required no further treatment other than more excision. I am to receive an MRI brain scan and a PET scan next week to determine if it is in other vital organs or my brain. I am desperate to increase my Immune System. Does anyone know if Ambrotose has been beneficial in the treatment of metastatic melanoma?

Who is suggesting Ambrotose for metastatic melanoma? I do see lots of testimonials about Ambrotose, but none for cancer.

By now you must have rec'd your results from your tests. I pray they were good. Wanted to tell you that I just started taking Ambrotose for my health problems along with a few other of the Mannatech products. Of course there are no guarantees from anything, but I have read several testimonials for helping with cancer, fibromyalgia, and other health problems. It is a natural product that is supposed to work at the cellular level in your body. I am hoping for great results. Good luck.

I also have been diagnosed with nodular melanoma and I'm now five years out. I've heard that brazil nuts are very health-beneficial. This is due to the high selenium level, which is an essential trace element that has been shown to help protect against heart disease, cancer and thyroid problems. Some studies indicate that people with a higher intake of selenium have a lower rate of death from cancer. They way I look at it is that these types of interventions certainly couldn't hurt and there's everything to be gained if they really do work! My husband and I both have started eating at least two brazil nuts a day.
