Sounds like your boyfriend was being a bit too rough. It's like rubbing your knees on the carpet, you get rug burn, well this is finger stimulation burn, for lack of a better term. He doesn't need to rub that hard to get you to reach orgasm, light gentle stimulation, it may take longer,but anticipation is half the fun. Also, you may try using lubricant, that might help you to avoid this in the future.

For now, wait a few days and let yourself "heal", talk to your boyfriend and let him know that he can't be that rough, it hurts.

Just my opinion, could be something else, but I've had this happen to me before, sounds like the same thing I experienced.
