Statute of limitations- boyfriend and vehicle theft
My boyfriend was caught stealing vehicles when he was 18 in 2002. He was fined $63,000. I was wondering if there is a statute of limitations through icbc where the fine was wiped clean so that he could go and get his license again

I know of no limit on a fine assessed in a criminal proceeding.

I would be more worried about the possibility of going to jail, for not paying the fine, than I would be about getting a license again.

Normally no, if this is through the criminal court and the license was suspended due to the money owned, he will not get his license until everything is done
