    Charitible organizations in Kentucky
We are a non-profit organization, we are sponsoring an gallery hop featuring special needs children's art. We have talked to several caterers about the event do we have to use a licensed caterer or can we go for the lowest bid. One caterer (most expensive) told our president that we were required by Kentucky law to use only licensed professionals due to our non-profit status?? I have not been able to locate anything related to this topic, please help

I wouldn't take a chance - call your Accountant and ask. Presumably your Accountant is well aware how to preserve your not-for-profit status.
