I have a husqvarna LTH125 with a Kohler command engine CV125s. I am quoting these numbers from memory as I'm at work. I was[F] a crane mechanic but these little engines I know little about but can figure them out with some guidance.

My problem is
1:) The mower starts and runs one day then not the next I pull it into the shop and fart with it... it works but the next time I go to use it nothing it turns over but won't run. I can give it a shot of fuel and it runs great. I get a free flow of fuel from the gravity feed fuel tank all the way to the carb. I did notice the other day that the fuel cut-off solenoid was a bit warm don't know if this is normal or not.

2:) The fuel shut-off solenoid looks like it is part of the carb bowl assy. So how do I test this or by-pass it for a run test.

3:) Parts seem hard to find for this as it is a mid 90's mower. It was cheap and I used it for 2 yrs without a bit of problems now this year it won't work for me.

Answers:
1:) If the mower is farting with you, then it must have too much gas. Give it two aspirin and two gasX and try it in the morning. Seriously now, check the diaphragm.
2:) The fuel solenoid screws into the bottom of the carb holding the bowl on. Remove the wires, remove the solenoid, After You Clamp OFF the fuel flow. Then reattach the wires, hold the solenoid against the body of the engine to ground it, and have someone turn the key, the solenoid should activate.
3:) The engine parts should be easy to find at an authorized dealer. Take your model, type and serial number from your engine. These numbers are located on the blower housing or the ohv cover.
