Gas spill removal from carpet in car
How do you remove spilled gas from carpet in van? I've tried detergent/water, other cleaners/water with towel to soak it up - still have strong smell of gas in carpet/car

Leave the windows open a crack 24/7 and maybe put a small box fan in a partially open window. Spread baking soda on the carpet about 1/4" deep and allow it to work for a dayor two, repeated as needed. The smell will slowly disapate over time.
