    Citenship and expungment
    I was arrested for shoplifting and got my records expunged in the state of ga. I just finished my five years and want to apply for my citienzship is it nesscary to mention that I was arrested. Since my records were expunged.

    You need to disclose all info even it's expunged. There is no harm doing this.. but if you lied, and USCIS found your expungement, then you will be in trouble.

    The expungement applies to court records, not arrest records. Tell the truth if they ask if you were arrested.
