I got a tatt on my left inner wrist and I am unhappy with it! I had one done on my right inner wrist and the guy that did it did such a good job! I had went back to the shop to have the other side done and he no longer worked there. I said well oh well I had a drawing so I figured another artist could do it. So I got settled in and had it done and I just don't like it. I wanted it to match with the other one only in a different way and they don't match at all {it is music notes on "sheet music" } well I had a question on the process of covering up. I decided I just want to cover up the right end of it where the notes were placed and they are not in logical locations! I wanted it to look like a real excerpt from sheet music but the notes are too high. So I decided I want to put an old school mic over the end... but as I believe a cover up just covers up what is there right? So to make it look like a nice cover up I need to make sure what I want there actually goes over the lines that are there right? Just curious about the process please forgive my ignorance :) . I will be going to a new shop this weekend just want to be prepared :)

The best thing you can do for yourself is just have a solid idea of what you want to have there in order to cover it up.. or at least the part you're not happy with...

Once you get to the new tattoo shop, let the artists there know exactly what you want in as much detail as you can muster... and then they can measure what you have and come up with a reasonable solution for the size and placement of the coverup...

You'd be surprised at how well they can do these coverups...
