    Getting old password back
    I have this email id and I forgot the password of that id. I know how to reset my password but I my question is how do I get the old password I had?

    That depends on the email system you are using. There are too many systems to give you "an advice that fitts all" .

    Advice : get a small paper notebook that you locate near your computer.
    Put all important log-in data and other important computer information in that book.
    "Bill" was wrong : the paperless society is still far away, if ever it will become reality...

    Normally you follow the rules for "lost password" or to reset password, they will ask you some of the secruity questions you set up.

    Paperless society? I think computers and the web are making people create a lot more paperwork, not less. It totally amazes me the amount of junk people print out.
