On Saturday my boyfriend went to bring his daughter some new clothes and his baby mother came out of the house with a butcher knife and cut him like 4 times. He left and called the police on her and they end up locking him up because she called and said he assaulted her but the only thing he did was hold her arms. She has no cuts or bruises. They ended up locking her up too but gave her a bail and not him... his bond hearing is tomorrow... I'm scard to death they're not going to let him out. What do you guys think?

Definitely get an attorney if you haven't yet. The reason for this is because (not being sexist or anything) the legal system is primarily set up to suit the female gender. I say this because I am in law enforcement and all a woman has to say is that she was assaulted in some way, shape, or form and the man involved will go to jail. The department that I work for generally will not take the male to jail if the female half says that she wants him in jail, we will just simply escort them off the property. I am surprised that a crime scene specialist and a detective didn't check out her claims first... but every agencies policies and procedures are different.
