    New ac unit no power
Help! I have a brand new air conditioner and furnace and I cannot get the a/c on. I have read many sites and the problem seems to be no power to the outside unit. I have checked the breakers, but assume it hasn't been tripped as it has never been on! The other problem is that my panel is not labelled! I cannot for the life of me remember what if anything the HVAC guys told me to do come springtime... can anyone tell me where a switch may be to turn on now that I want to use the a/c? I found a main power switch, like a light switch for the furnace, but I cannot find another one anywhere.
    Thanks.

Go outside. Open the box on the wall. And reverse the disconnect. One position is on and the other off. In other words try turning it upside down.

Where are you located? Its code to have a disconnect at the unit. Anyway if there is none go to you main fuse panel and look for a set of 2 breakers (2 breakers connected together) If they are not in the same position as all the other breakers they are in the off position and this might be the power your looking for
