Replaced gas line now 2002 huskee rider will not turn over
Had mower running, but noticed gas line was corroded and has broken as gas was pouring out of line. Shut the mower off, replaced the gas line, then could not get it to start again. Thought it was battery, replaced battery, not even a click when you have a dead battery. Gas gets to the carb, the gas line is clear, I can see it go in. Have had to dump gas in carb to get it to start before... Not sure what I should do? (2002 Huskee LTD Model # 13AJ608H131 21 HP Briggs and Stratton engine with 46" deck)

Remove the bowl of the carb, see if there is any contaminants in the bowl, such as water, or debris.

Assumption, hmm, could have gotten trash in line, correct?

Assumption, hmmm, could be the fuel solenoid, correct?

Another new comer not knowing how to use the rating system.
And as far as the solenoid, they stated, " not even a click when you have a dead battery."

    Ohh well, live and learn.

We recently replaced an old thermostat with a programmable thermostat, and now the heat won't kick on. My husband said he switched the wires directly over, and the AC works fine. But when we switch to heat we can hear the unit turn on, but the fan doesn't turn on or blow out anything. This is a...

I replace the engine on a used Sears 42", 6 speed riding mower. My problem is that when I engage the blades the engine stalls. The belt, 1/2" wide seems to be in a bind in the engine pulley groove. It will turn the blades if I manually turn the engine in the reverse direction, but not going in...
