    Condenser Fan
My sons house took a power hit (off and on) about three times from a storm. Now the fan does not work on the condenser. Any ideals of what the problem might be?

Probably a surge hit the motor. You can check the capacitor but the motor is probably defective. Replace both motor and capacitor.

There should be a run cap only for the fan motor OR the run cap and compressor cap are dual in nature.
