    Going away
I'm going away for the weekend and am not able to take rex with me. He'll have to stay at home with my dad and 2 brothers, but normally he sleeps in my room with me. Should I ask them to put his blanket down and let him sleep in my room even if I am not here maybe it will make him miss me less?

    Dear rex123

I'm sure you mean well, but...

A dog should sleep in his own place, i.e. in his/her own basket or blanket, and not in/on your bed. Never.
Surely a dog will miss you during your absence, as you are part of his/her group.
Do not treat an animal as a human being. He/she is not your child. He/she is a dog!

    Have a safe trip !

Thanks but my dog doesn't sleep in my bed he sheds to much(and my mom is a germ freak and she would kill me), he sleeps on HIS blanket which lays on my floor.

I think it's a good idea. The fewer things that change the better. If he is content with this, it will reinforce confident calm behavior in your absence. If he freaks out they might try putting his blanket down beside someone else's bed.
