    Child support after agreement filed
My ex husband and I have been separated for 4 years. It has been filed in the courts for 2years now.
We have joint custody of our 3 children. Every other week with no child support.
My ex hustband now makes a considerable amount more than I do. He makes close to $100,000 per year and I make $40,000. We have the same housing, car payments and care for the kids equally when they are with us. He has more disposible income.
Can I go after him for child support now?

Now read back on what you posted...

    GOING AFTER HIM...

Have you ever ASKED him if he would consider that possibility? You don't mention that. I see a lot of anger in your question. Are you still angry at him? Any reason for that?

    Just asking...

Only anger I have is that after 4 years he can't get over the fact that the kids are not objects. He uses head games with the kids as he can afford more for them. He more or less buys their love.
Because of my limited income and living paycheck to paycheck, to provide necessaties, he does pay for extra curricular activities and makes me feel as I am an unfit mother and can't provide the nnecessaties such as hockey... lol... even though I do more . He is a paycheck to them and he knows it.
Would like him to pay for his children.. thats all.

You can try to get support but be aware that if you do get a court date he can counter file for more physical custody. No one can really know what a judge will decide. You might get a little but because you already have joint physical custody you may not and as I said before he may get them more of the time.
