    Worried
I'm kind of worried that I might be pregnant.. my boyfriend and I recently had intercourse and the condom was put on properly and I'm pretty sure there was no leaks or breakage... he withdraw and didn't ejaculate inside me.. im not on any type of Birth Control.. am I overreacting or is there a chance I can be pregnant? And should I take the Emergency Contraceptive just to be on the safe side?

There's always a chance, even with birth control. Time to consider whether you are ready for motherhood. If not, then perhaps you shouldn't be having sex. Sorry, blunt and to the point, sex=babies. Now you get to play the waiting game. The emergency contraceptive pill is most effective within the first 24 hours after sex.

    Good Luck.

Yes there is always a chance of becoming pregnant every time that you have sex no matter what form of birth control you use, nothing is 100% these days, lots of people get pregnant when they thought that they were being safe. One thing about condoms are, you really can't tell if there is a small hole in them or not, so if you really aren't ready to be a mother, take the emergency contraceptive pill and hope for the best, and make this be a lesson that nothing can't prevent you 100% from getting pregnant except for not having sex. I know that that is hard with the way men are these days and how hormones are racing but think about the consequences before they happen, Good Luck hope all goes well for you

Odds are in your favor that you aren't pregnant, but as the others have said, it is always possible. One thing you don't want to do is consider emergency contraceptives as birth control. They are not to be used on a regular basis, so give some thought as to how you can best protect yourself if you are going to continue having intercourse at this point. (difficult to go backwards once you have already started, but some people choose to do so until they feel more comfortable with the possibilities that could result) Some women choose to double up... using the pill and condoms for example. Talk to your doctor about your options and the pros and cons of each.

The emergency contraceptive pill is just that for an emergency. They aren't to be used as a birth control method. Overuse can create a problem. Be careful.
