My John Deere battery for my lawn tractor -- LT 133 -- is (almost) dead. Can I jump start it by using battery cables hooked up to my Ford van, or is the van battery too powerful for the Deere? I don't want to fry either or both.

I have a HD12538 weedeater lawn tractor. I was mowing just fine stopped it and went to start it back and nothing the batter is OK, starter was engaging just will not do anything. I was thinking it might be a solenoid. But where is the solenoid to jump it?? View more questions Search
