    Hi I have had IBS for 2 years now. I am taking calcium supplements for the last 4 years so I don't see any reason not to take them, unless they cause your ibs to flare up, which in my view is highly unlikely. If you have any reaction you could check with your pharmacy or doctor. Good luck.

    Are you taking the coral calcium supplements? Those are the best. I have IBS and I take them with no problem. Stay away from soy products and stay away from flax seed products as that causes me to flare up.
