    Child abandonment
    A friends boyfriend has a baby and she feels as though he has been lying to her and need some legal advice to see if what he is say to her is true

    Child abandonment occurs when a child is left alone without supervision. Abandonment can be use an issue in a custody battle or to try and terminate rights.

    Like everyone else has said, you need to be a bit more informative regarding your friend's situation. You use the subject "child abandonment" but then say the child's father is allegedly lying; lying isn't abandonment.
