    From my experience, in many cases, one of co-workers reported to immigration, so both were arrested and this happened very often. Penalty for the felony offense of harboring illegal aliens is up to 10 years in federal prison.

    For H-4 holder, violation of immigration laws = deportation + jeopardized H-1B status.
