    Overdue Pregnant bledding bum!
Hey, I was due 2 have my little boy on 26th may, yesterday! He hasent made an apearence yet though sadly. I just have 1 worry which I forgot 2 mention in antenatal today.

Recently over the past month or so I have been having trouble going for a number two but just from last night I noticed when I did go bit a bit of difficulty when I wiped I had a line of blood on the tissue. I went again today again it was quite difficult and painful and found more blood when I wiped, I haven't got any other discomfort apart from when I need to use the toilet so I've ruled out piles and hemmoroids myself as I no there quite common in pregnancy!

Please can someone answer this question as I'm quite worried.

Also at antenatal today they tried a membrane sweep to start labour off as I'm overdue, but the difference today when I came home is the amount of blood which was on the tissue as the night before when I had the bleeding was quite light compared to after I had had the membrane sweep today, can this contribute in any way?

Thank you all sooooo much for your answers, just a little worried.
    Xx

I am no doctor just a mother, are you sure it is from your bowels? It may not be, please call your doctor or go to hospital. Better safe than sorry. I started spotting very lightly after a swab to help with labor to start. My daughter was two and a half weeks late. Anyway next day had lite spotting so went to hospital and had stopped bleeding by the time I got there but found out baby was in distress. I was bleeding inside. I do not mean to scare you and hopefully yours is nothing like mine but please go. Something little can actually be something important. I hope this helps and good luck. This is just my opinion but please seek medical attention just to be safe.

Sunds like your doctor needs to prescribe you some hemmoroid cream also ask about a stool softener to help with the hard bm's. Drink plenty of water and eat veggies and other products high in fiber. I would give them a call. After the birth they probably will be worse from the pushing.
