No water from faucet, but the spray works great.
I installed a new Moen two-handle kitchen faucet about two weeks ago. The hot water was slower than the cold. However, this week both started to get slower or have lower pressure. So I got rid of the old lines and installed new. Now I have absolutely no water coming through the spout, but the spray works great.
Any idea why? Or can you tell me what I need to do.

Hey DAR:
Something is clogging up the aerator or the cartridge assemblies.
First...check the aerator. Simply twist the aerator clockwise to remove, pulse water when removed to clear, clean aerator screen/unit and then reinstall. If you have full pressure when aerator OFF, this is the issue (may need to replace the new aerator.
Do you have a model number.. Or do you still have the installation instructions/paperwork..
If that didn't work... and if you have the paperwork that came with the new faucet just refer to it on how to remove the cartridges... shut the water to hot and cold... remove the cartridges... pulse the water to clear the water lines/valve of any sediment... check the cartridges for sediment and clean... then reinstall and see what happens!
Otherwise, get me a model number and I will see if I can find info. On your valve.
Sounds like the aerator... ;)
Let me know more... MARK

Thank you for your reply. Not sure I am answering correctly.
I cleared the aerator and I have water. Still not the greatest pressure. My bathroom sinks appear to have more pressure for the hot water.
The faucet number is a Model 87846 Series.

This evening out of the blue, my faucet stopped working. It's a two handle system. The spray gun works fine. I checked the aerator and it was clean. We just installed a PUR water filter on the end about a month ago but I doubt this has anything to do with this. Also, there is a very small...

No Cold Water Pressure - Hot works great!
[ 3 Answers ]
Usually I know it's the other way around but in our house we have really low water pressure.. but only with the cold. The most noticeable effect is when we try to use the kitchen sprayer with the cold water and it just dribbles out. When we use it with the hot, it works fine. What could be wrong...
